White Spruce (Picea glauca)

Recognized for its cone-shaped crown, the White Spruce is often found on stream banks and slopes. This tree is a moderate grower and makes for a great Christmas tree. This spruce works well in windbreaks because it is such a dense tree. White Spruce also provides food for many types of birds, grouse, and deer.
