Oak, White (bundle of 25)

(Quercus alba) The most majestic of oaks, this slow- to moderate-growing tree is long-lived with light gray “flaky” bark. The acorns are less bitter than those form red oak trees. Spring is the best time to plant. The white oak prefers full sun to partial shade and grows best in sandy or loam soil. This is a great choice if you want to provide food and cover for birds and mammals. These trees can experience some oak scale and powdery mildew issues. Sold in bundle of 25 seedlings.
