Oak, Swamp White (Quercus bicolor)

Used as shade tree for large lawns, this fast-growing tree can live up to 350 years. It grows best in swamp forests, river bottoms and borders of ponds, lakes or streams. It's known for its yellow fall foliage and long-stemmed acorns. Great source of food and cover for MN birds and mammals.
