Aspen, Quaking (bundle of 25)

  • (Populus tremuloides) Recognized for its quaking green leaves, the smooth pale bark, scarred with black, and golden yellow fall colors make the Quaking Aspen a favorite. A very fast grower, this tree grows up to 50 feet tall and 30 feet wide, and propagates through its roots to form large groves. It is extrememly cold tolerant and grows in a wide range of climates.  It prefers full sun and grows best in sandy to loam soil. Its small cottony seeds provide food for deer and grouse. The oldest know grove of Quaking Aspen is 8,000 years old!  Sold in bundle of 25 seedlings.
