Plum, Wild (Prunus americana)

The American Plum is a small understory tree with clusters of white flowers and edible fruit.  A moderately fast growing tree,  this tree provides food and cover for birds and deer. It is important for pollinator survival as it is one of few plants to bloom in the very early spring.
